What is Threading?

Eyebrow threading is a hair removal technique that was developed in Southeast Asia and the Middle East centuries ago. The idea is to remove multiple hairs in a line, row-by-row, to shape facial hair. It is very delicate process making it suitable even for sensitive skin . The treatment is fairly simple and quick: a special thin untibacterial cotton thread, doubles and twists the hair. As a therapist I move my hands, the threads grab unwanted hairs in between the openings and pull them free—including the roots.

Please note I offer threading only as an additional service to other treatments.

 How much does it cost?

 Eyebrows Threading                          £7
Upper Lip Threading                          £5
Chin Threading                          £5
Full Face Threading                         £15

How long does it take?

Depending on the area threading can take between 10 -30 minutes.

How long does the result lasts?

Generally threading is supposed to last as long as 2-5 weeks, but if you have faster-growing hair, you may want to visit closer to the 2-week mark.

What Are Benefits?

  • I am not contacting skin at all, which prevent cuts , infections and unwanted skin removal.
  • Threading removes several unwanted hairs in one fell swoop rather than just one at a time. No hair can escape. Not even peach fuzz.
  • It’s super precise so you can get those perfect brow shapes quick and easy.
  • Threading is kind for the skin : no chemicals or heat are applied.
  • Unlike waxing threading doesn't cause ingrown hair.
  • Regrowth of hair in threaded areas is finer, smoother and softer.
  • Threading is suitable for sensitive skin.

Threading Aftercare:

The hairs from the face are removed from the follicle, leaving the pores on the skin open for at least 2 to 3 hours.

  • Avoid touching the treated area for 2-4 hours.
  • No make-up or perfumed products should be applied for 2-4 hours.
  • Avoid steam treatment or heat source like sun bathing / tanning beds, hot baths or sauna for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid swimming or spray tanning 24-48 hours post threading.
  • Choose a toner with witch hazel, whose catechol tannins help reduce the size of pores and push out dirt. Or choose a toner with salicylic acid, which not only breaks down the oil in the clogged hair follicle, but helps kill the bacteria.
  • You may use other helpful ingredients such as Neosporin cream, tea tree oil or anti-inflammatories such as chamomile, aloe vera and allantoin.

Contraindications for Threading:
